SRK may be the undisputed King of Bollywood and Big B it’s evergreen superstar, but when it comes to endorsing celebrity brands, the two are no match to Chote Nawab’s popularity. According to a recent TAM study, Shah Rukh Khan, Big B and Hrithik were beaten hands down by the Junior Pataudi who topped the list of the most featured star in the ad world- with over 45 lakh seconds of visibility.

According to the AdEx research, in terms of visibilty in 2007, ads featuring Saif Ali Khan appeared for 45 lakh seconds followed by ads featuring Shah Rukh Khan for 42 lakh seconds, Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan ads appeared 32 lakh seconds and 31 lakh seconds respectively. And among actresses it’s Kajol who catches most eyes with her ads taking 22 lakh seconds space in 2007 followed by Preity Zinta, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Juhi Chawla whose ads take 13.2 lakh seconds space.

Preity Zinta, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Juhi Chawla rounded off the top 10. With 13.2 lakh seconds, Chawla was ahead of reigning draws like Priyanka Chopra (11 lakh seconds), Bipasha Basu (6.4 lakh) and Kareena Kapoor (6 lakh). As for the cricketers – only captain MS Dhoni and legendary Sachin Tendulkar (with 8 lakh seconds visibility) seem to be managing to draw the moolah in the advertising circles. Thus, Saif is the unconquered Badhash of the commercial business – leaving the likes of SRK & Big B far far behind.

GOSH, all of them are rich, go help fix the mumbai traffic. USE THAT MONEY WISELY….or for a good cause. We are very charitable actually.

There is no doubt that the audio albums of Karan Johar’s films have had some outstanding songs, right from KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI to KABHI KHUSHI KABHIE GHAM. Even the songs of KABHI ALVIDA NAA KEHNA (that was not as big a hit as the other two) achieved amazing popularity and sales volumes.
So, what can we expect from his next directorial venture, the Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol starrer, KHAN / MY NAME IS KHAN? Well, reliable media sources who have heard scratch tunes of two of the songs say that Karan Johar once again has super-hit music on his hands.
As per exclusive details, the first composition ‘Sajda’ is to be rendered by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. It is likely to be picturised as a background song when Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol get married. The other song, ‘Tere Naina’, will be another background composition. The situation for the number is when SRK sees Kajol for the first time in the film.
One understands that this particular song too will be rendered by a Pakistani singer. To sum up in two words, the musical compositions by Shankar- Ehsaan-Loy will be sure fire hits, once the audio album is launched next year!

Even as the ‘Dasavatharam’ fever has gripped India and as Kamal fans are waiting with bated breath for its release, the ace actor is looking ahead with his next project, ‘Marmayogi’.
Kamal Haasan is sporting a wildly grown beard these days. The reason can be fathomed by just about anybody. ‘Marmayogi’ demands the beard and it also shows the commitment the actor has towards filmmaking.

It is a practice by most in the film industry to take a break after completing a project. Even with the unimaginable magnitude with which the film has been made and following a lifestyle that demanded the actor to work up to 20 hours a days on a regular basis, thoughts of a break hasn’t set in. Pre-production work for ‘Marmayogi’ has already started and what’s more….Kamal Haasan has done the screenplay for the film.

The ‘Marmayogi’ team has approached Kajol to play a very important role in the film. This is actually the second time that Kamal Haasan is approaching Kajol. He had earlier knocked on her door for a role in ‘Chachi 420’ – the remake of the Tamil blockbuster ‘Avvaishanmugi’.

Unfortunately, Kajol was committed to another project at that time and Tabu was roped in.
The dream girl of the sixties, Hema Malini has been approached for another role and has accepted it gleefully. Let’s hope we get to see Kamal Haasan and Kajol perform stupendously in ‘Marmayogi’.

At first Kajol and Ajay was disallowed for the music premiere event, becuse the director does not want Kajol And AJay to have the limelight, but sources have mentioned that despite all that KAJOL has agreed to feature as a cameo appearnce in Haal E Dil.
Our source said, “Ajay and Kajol are extremely close to Mangat and Haal-e-Dil is Mangat’s daughter, Amita’s debut film. So, when he requested Kajol to play a cameo in the film, she immediately agreed.”It’s a known fact that Kajol only works with established banners like Yash Raj Films and Dharma Productions, and is usually extremely selective about her roles. In Haal-e-Dil , she will play a small, but vital role.

Kareena Kapoor can put her hopes of being cast in My Name Is Khan to complete rest. For finally Karan Johar’s first choice Kajol has agreed to do the film. Kajol gave the nod to the project on Thursday.

A source close to Kajol’s husband, Ajay Devgan, tells us, “Kajol indeed took a long time to take a call on her participation in Karan Johar’s My Name Is Khan, but the problem was that she had not heard the script in detail. This week, she took a long look at the script and finally said ‘yes’.”

“Karan and Kajol go back a long way. Their dosti is not only friendship but respect for each other as well. Kajol could not have refused the film outright,” the insider further says.

So how will Kajol adjust to the US schedule? Will her daughter Nysa accompany her? Wasn’t that one of the reasons why Kajol took long to give her nod of consent? “Well, that all will be sorted out. Kajol has worked out how to look after Nysa during that period. Whether Nysa will go with Kajol or not is still not known,” our source adds.

The only time Shah Rukh and Kareena have been romantically paired earlier was in Asoka the Great (2001), which too was produced in part by Shah Rukh Khan.and also you will get to see them on TOUR THIS YEAR

Ajay Devgan’s brother Anil Devgan has directed ‘Haal-e-Dil’, and Ajay’s secretary-turned-Producer Kumar Mangat’s daughter Amita makes her debut in the movie. Considering the great rapport that the Devgans share with Kumar Mangat, on would have expcted to see Ajay and Kajol be the guest of honor at the music launch event of the movie, which was initially on the cards as well, but however there was a last minute change to the plan initiated by Kumar.

Based on sources close to the production, Kumar visited Kajol and Ajay’s bungalow at Juhu a couple of hours prior to the event and asked the star couple if they would be fine with not being a part of the event; explaining his point of view Kumar expressed that the presence of big stars like Ajay and Kajol at the event might potentially overshadow the debutantes especially when it’s their first opportunity to present themselves in front of the media.
In his very convincing explanation to the Devgans, Mangat shared the example of Jackie Chan and Mallika Sherawat, who outshined Kamal Hassan at the recent ‘Dasvaratham’ audio launch in Chennai.

Filmmaker Karan Johar was spotted promoting a coffee brand on Sunday afternoon in Mumbai.

The filmmaker was certainly in the mood to chat as he dished about his favourite beverage, his favourite actor and his forthcoming ventures.

” I’m all about chit-chatting and having a conversation over a cup of coffee,” says the multi-talented filmmaker.

And even though he thinks there’s a lot of buzz going on about him, he’s still hungry for more.
“I want to read about myself every morning and I want to read all the wrong facts, and misrepresentations as they entertain me,” He says.

However the only other person he likes to talk about is “good friend” Shah Rukh Khan.

“I would support Shah Rukh no matter what he launches, no matter what he does, which sport he supports, which team he controls. I would just be routing for him no matter what.

Afterall they are a super hit jodi ever since Karan’s directorial debut Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and now 10 years later Karan is busy working on an animation film titled Kuchie Kuchie Hota Hai which is a similar story line but in an interesting animation form.

The animation will see Shah Rukh, Rani and Kajol play three cute dogs.

Being humorous about gossips are the way to go fellow celebrities.

That way you guys give us all celebrtiy bloggers a reason to be doubly nasty.

Apparently, the latest in her kitty is Ajay Devgan’s second directorial venture which he’s going to announce very soon. The actor-turned-director whose U, Me aur Hum with wife Kajol generated a mixed response from the audience, is reportedly all set to direct another film and this time, he has opted for Kareena instead of Kajol.

“Ajay and Kareena’s jodi was a hit in Omkara. Distributors want to cash in on their chemistry. Ajay, too, wants to recreate that magic with his second directorial venture,” says an insider.

The two are also starring in Golmaal Returns. And that’s not all. If the industry is abuzz with Bebo doing Ajay’s film, then there’s yet another story that’s creating ripples. It’s rumoured that Kareena has stepped into Kajol’s shoes yet again. “She is being considered for Shah Rukh Khan’s much awaited film, My Name is Khan,” says the source.

Now that is not the only variable in this twisted tale… the only person to gain out of Kajol’s predicament is current Bollywood favourite Kareena Kapoor, as Karan Johar has made it clear that if Kajol doesn’t sign up for his film opposite Shah Rukh Khan, then he will take on Kareena. And only yesterday Ajay Devgan said the same in not so many words… Ajay has said that he would prefer to direct Kareena in his next.
