Think Hrithik Roshan and you think twinkle toes. It started with Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai, where he burst into the scene to introduce a kind of fluid dancing that we hadn’t seen in a long time, and never ended.

Audiences could never have enough of his dancing. But now they may have to do without the delights of Hrithik’s dancing in some films to come. He is looking at scripts that will not require him to display his superb dancing skills.

The actor first got his knee surgery done at Bangkok soon after completing Jodhaa Akbar. But both the pain and the stiffness persisted. A week ago, he went to Los Angeles to get a second surgery done. (It’s another matter that most people thought he was in LA for the pre-production work of Anurag Basu’s Kites.)

Now, the surgery is over, the swelling is gone too, more or less. But it seems he will not be able to do his usual naacha gana with ease now, without harming the operated-on knee. And no, he has no dancing scenes in Kites.

He is reading plenty of other scripts too. But, besides looking at the meat of his role, his main criterion is, ‘No dancing, please’.

Oh Hrithik, you and dancing are synonym to each other. What will we do if you won’t want to dance?!

Eddie Murphy retire from the movie making biz:

Eddie Murphy is dishing about leaving the movie business for good after the release of his latest film. “I have close to fifty movies and it’s like, why am I in the movies?” he said, adding, “I’ve done that part now. I’ll go back to the stage and do standup.”

Murphy, 47, said that while a “Beverly Hills Cop 4″ flick was in the works, he didn’t want to do it, because “the movie wasn’t ready to be done.” Murphy said he agreed to do “Cop 3″ because of the large fee he was offered. “They said this is how much we’re going to pay you. I said, ‘let’s go shoot it! I don’t care if the script ain’t right.” As for Eddie’s love life, the new bachelor [said] he is currently looking for a woman with “just honesty and some other things.”

Other things??? Like what? A dick and a sexy baritone voice?

Abbas-Mustan are hell-bent on turning The Italian Job into an Indian Job. After years of adapting Hollywood thrillers, Abbas-Mustan just won’t do a straightforward faithful adaptation. Speaking on the job, Abbas says, “Studio 18 thought of us for an Indian Italian Job after seeing how we shot the chase sequences in Race. Two years ago to execute the intricate action scenes in The Italian Job would’ve been tough. Today we can comfortably pull it off. Our producers are willing to go all out. No expenses will be spared to make sure our The Italian Job is as good as the original.”

Though this is the first adaptation that they’re doing after legally purchasing the original rights, Abbas-Mustan are adamant on re-vamping the story. “Whenever we’ve adapted a film we’ve completely Indianized the story. Though Studio 18 has bought the rights and though we can use every frame from the original same-to-same, we don’t want to do that. We’re going to Indianize The Italian Job. We’ll add roles for two heroines.

We might even have an American actress in the film. And the villain will be played by one of the top heroes. We want to make it better than the original.” Now Abbas-Mustan are besieged by Bollywoodian badshahs who want a part. “It seems every major hero in Mumbai has always wanted to do The Italian Job. It’s got everything from a heist to comedy”, laughs Abbas.

We have watched RACE, and it was a superb hit. We are very confident, Abbas-Mustan duo can pull the ITALIAN JOB off. We can’t wait who will they cast. That will be an eye-opener. Here’s a look at the italian job trailer (2003) And Race, which was release few months back.

Harman will be present along with the cast and crew of his debut film Love Story 2050 at the grand premiere of his film scheduled to take place in London.Bollywood Hungama spoke to an excited Harman who shared all the details of the grand premiere, “I am really looking forward to the world premiere of my film Love Story 2050 in London. The premiere is on Wednesday July 2, 2008 at the Cineworld theatre in Feltham. This is the same place where the premiere of Krrish was held few years ago”

But why London for the premiere? “It was something which we had planned six months in advance. I believe my entire team has already done a lot of promotions in India. There are many Indians living in London who are as much into Bollywood as we are and we thought it would be absolutely unfair for us not to come there and share our film with them and hence we decided to have the world premiere in London. So far I have received an extremely warm response from people in London, be it through e-mails or phone calls and I am really looking forward to the premiere”

So who all are going to be present for the special night? “Well myself, Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani, Dad (Harry Baweja) and Mom (Pammi Baweja) would be there along with Mr. Khetarpal from Adlabs (who are also the producers of the film). Besides, I have a lot of family members in London. I am a Punjabi so there are lots of distant relatives of mine who stay in and around London. They are all really excited about the premiere happening there and even I am looking forward to catching up with some of my cousins after a long time

Ben, don’t joke about these things. Jessica Biel will never be anybody’s wife. How an a full fledged man be anybody’s wife??? Ok Ben? Get it now? Thanks.

And tht William Moseley is one hot piece too. Truly, the Chronicles of Narnia kids are more goodlooking than the Harry Potter kids.

After the success of ‘Partner’, the ‘jodi no 1′ of comedy, actor Govinda and director David Dhawan, will again try to tickle the funny bones of the viewers with ‘Do Knot Disturb’.Two former beauty queens — Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta — are working together for the first time in the film. Dhawan has also roped in successful comedians like Riteish Deshmukh, Rajpal Yadav, Ranbir Shorey and Sohail Khan, besides his lucky mascot Govinda.

“Public likes to see us together. It is their unflinching love and faith which makes us successful together,” Govinda says about his partnership with comedy king Dhawan that has given hits like ‘Coolie No 1′, ‘Hero No 1′, ‘Sajan Chale Sasural’ and ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’.”We have worked in 17 films together and have been one of the most successful director-actor pairs in the film industry. We will come together for many more projects in future as well,” Dhawan said at a function here last evening to announce the start of the shooting of ‘Do Knot Disturb’.

Dhawan is also planning a sequel of ‘Partner’. The film’s leading lady Sushmita Sen said she and Govinda shared a very good chemistry onscreen and is enjoying shooting together again. “Shooting with Chi Chi (Govinda) is always fun. He is a great prankster,” she says.Govinda, who is also a Congress MP, had kept himself away from films in recent years barring a few roles and a stint in a television quiz show which did not meet with much success. He, however, found favour with viewers with ‘Partner’, co-starring Salman Khan, Lara Dutta and Katrina Kaif.

“I am making up for the three years that I lost not doing films. I am balancing my film career now.” he says when asked about his disappearance from the silverscreen. Govinda now admits that his decision to keep away from films was a mistake.”I was nervous for the first shot for ‘Partner’. I became normal only after the second shot,” he says. When asked about his opinion about the latest debutantes from the film fraternity — Harman Baweja, Imran Khan and Sikander Kher, Govinda comes up with a politically correct answer, “I think all of them are very good, talented and hard-working youngsters.”

“They work hard and are very professional in their life. They don’t party and survive on boiled food to maintain a good physique,” he quips. With Shah Rukh Khan making six-pack-abs a new fashion in film industry, will Govinda ever hit the gym to tone down?”It is very difficult to do, but why not? We are actors and if a role demands something like that I will definitely try it,” he says. Riteish Deshmukh, who had made a name with comedies like ‘Apna Sapna Money Money’, ‘Masti’ and ‘Malamal Weekly’, has teamed up with Dhawan for the first time.

“I had worked in some very good comedies and working with Dhawan completes the circle.” When asked about him being touted as the Govinda of the present generation, Deshmukh says “It is a great complement for me to be compared with someone like him.”
