After whooping it up in Priyadarshan’s Mere Baap Pehle Aap, Paresh is now getting ready to do his first international film. “It’s called, believe it or not, The Virgin Goat. It’s a lovely script. I play a villager who’s taking his goat-on-heat for mating. It’s entirely the story of my character.”

It’s rumoured that Paresh is asking for exorbitant mounts of money. “Please believe me, I’m asking for less than I deserve. I’m not comparing my price to what others get. I’m only charging more as compared with what I used to charge earlier. Boney Kapoor openly told me once that I charge too little. Sometimes I ask for more than I normally would just to fob off unwanted projects.”

The super-talented Paresh Rawal and the supposedly sexy Mallika Sherawat who play husband and wife got along like a house on fire during the shooting of Sanjay Chhel’s Maan Gaye Mughall-e-Azam.

In fact they got along so well that Paresh made the classic statement on the sets, ‘Mallika Sherawat is largely responsible for global warming’. Laughs Paresh, “Ha, I did say that. I don’t deny it. But only as a joke. I’m constantly passing quips on the sets. And this was one of them. Little did I know that it would be the talk of the town. I’ve just landed in Mumbai and everyone is asking me about it.”

Paresh plays a middle-aged man whose son is looking for a suitable match in Mere Baap Pehle Aap. And amused friends are now suggesting Mallika could be the cause of some domestic warming in Paresh’s life. Laughs Paresh, “Aisa kuch nahin hai. My wife (actress Swaroop Sampat) heard my comment and she laughed the loudest.”

Paresh Rawal may be coming across as a spoilt dad in Priyadarshan’s Mere Baap Pehle Aap. However, in real life too, his naughty streaks are getting visible, courtesy the remark that he just made about Mallika Sherawat.Recently, Paresh Rawal insisted that Mallika was the root cause of all the global warming. This came as a result of his close interaction with the Murder actress, courtesy Maan Gaye Mughall-E-Azam.

In the film, he plays a key role along with Mallika Sherawat, Rahul Bose and Kay Kay Menon. On being asked whether it was a spur of moment statement made by the usually politically correct actor or did he truly mean it, the veteran actor said, “Of course, I was serious when I said that she is the root cause of all global warming. I mean see the kind of vibes she exudes when she is on the sets.”

“See, it is not just skin show which could make someone hot. Sometimes just the way a woman carries herself is good enough for her to make her presence felt in a big way. She truly carries herself off as a Diva and this is exactly the reason why we all used to miss her when she wasn’t on the sets.” In the past, even Rahul Bose has been said to be mighty impressed after working with her in Pyaar Ke Side Effects. The chemistry of two altogether different individuals was there to be seen in the Saket Chaudhary film and the result was Maan Gaye Mughall-E-Azam which sees the two pairing up again.

Maan Gaye Mughall-E-Azam is directed by Sanjay Chhel who had debuted with Sanjay Dutt-Urmila Matondkar starrer ‘Khoobsurat’ and had followed it up with Tusshar Kapoor-Esha Deol starrer Kya Dil Ne Kaha.

Mallika is hot! And there are no two ways about that!

For Rahul Bose, Mallika is the sexiest and talented actress he has worked with. He still fondly remembers the Pyaar Ke Side Effect days that had them paired together for the first time.
It was this film that Rahul turned a Mallika Sherawat fan.
So when Sanjay Chhel offered him Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam with Mallika, Rahul just could not refuse it.
Besides Rahul, now there’s one more actor to have turned a Mallika fan. He is none other than the ultra talented Paresh Rawal. The actor finds Mallika to be hot. In fact he finds her to be so hot that he literally misses her presence on the sets. In fact he often jokingly lands up saying, ‘Where is the root cause of global warming? I mean Mallika!”
Now this is one hot compliment must say!
But being her “fan”, Paresh would surely cool things down!
